Songs always come from somewhere. Pay attention long enough and patterns show up that you wish you hadn’t noticed.

Lately I’ve been thinking about the way some people turn discomfort into identity. A setback becomes a statement. A complaint becomes a performance. It’s easy to mistake volume for depth. Some people are more comfortable performing their wounds than letting them heal.

This one came out of that. It’s here if you want it.
